Yes. I AM TWENTY YEARS OLD.
It may sound old but I am proud of it.
My life is indeed a roller coaster ride.
I have my own ups and downs.
My life experienced smooth and rough roads.
I am ready to face more.
In two days, I know things will continue to change.
And as they say "ALWAYS BE READY. EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED."
In two days, I will be OLDER.
OLDER not just by age.
but OLDER because I'll discover more about my RESPONSIBILITIES.
Responsibilities as a
SON OF GOD,
SON OF MY PARENTS,
BROTHER TO MY SIBLINGS,
A CITIZEN OF THIS NATION.
I remember Kuya Karlo's quote to us,
"MATURITY IS NOT MEASURED BY AGE, BUT ON HOW YOU KNOW YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES".
In two days, I'LL BE ME.
I'll be TRUE TO MYSELF.
I don't need to pretend.
I don't need to hide my feelings.
In two days, I'll tell myself to save LOVE for myself.
It's okay to be single.
I'll enjoy life more.
In two days,
I'LL BE OKAY!
